Our strength is our comfort level with the international scene and in being able to help our clients operate successfully in a global economy by reducing business and executive risks. Our managing director is Edward Lee, a former U.S. diplomat and federal agent who possesses more than 32 years experience in protecting diplomats and the interests of global companies. Ed formerly managed the design and delivery of antiterrorism training for the U.S. State Department’s Office of Antiterrorism Assistance, served as a U.S. Embassy Regional Security Officer (RSO) at a number of embassies and also served as director of security of the U.S. Agency for International Development. Sleeping Bear Risk Solutions consultants come with years of experience in federal agencies, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Internal Revenue Service, Diplomatic Security Service and in state as well as county police departments.
